THE POWER OF THE POSTING

So you have a blog and you have some great social networks you belong to like the 100 Day Challenge….now what?

Adding friends to your account is a good place to start. Going out into the online community on the site is the next step. Read what other people are posting, comment on them, and ask questions. Make new friends. Generate referrals and increase your reach.

Eventually you will find you need a little bit more. Now it is time to post blogs in your community and if possible, offer up articles. Nothing establishes you more in the mind of the reader that you are an expert than if something brilliant comes out of your fingers and onto your blog, website or social networking forum.

Another great way to get involved and establish yourself is to start a group within your community. On the 100 Day Challenge site there are only a few groups started and it is a perfect time to jump in and start your own.

Many older established community sites have thousands of groups and it is very easy to get lost. In my experience I have seen real estate groups started on the principals of getting open house sitters, partnering on high end deals and putting together mastermind groups. These are just a few ways to get involved in your group and get things moving!

There is one more benefit to the blog posting, group hosting and article writing…you get found in Google. After you are done reading this article, type your name in Google. Are you there? Are you in the top 10? Are you on Yahoo? Check out some of the search engines and see what the Internet says about you.

If you are not found on the internet and you don’t have what we call a “presence,” you need to email me and we can talk about what Motherhood Incorporated (www.motherhoodincorporated.com) can do for you so when a client types in your name, you come up as a rock star in real estate!

You’ve all heard about the power of the press – these days it’s the power of the posting!
